My name is Zoey Nicholson. I am currently enrolled in the Applied Museum Studies Advanced Diploma program at Algonquin College. 

Through my past work experience, I have gained skills both working independently and working in a group setting, paying attention to detail, and facing any type of work with enthusiasm and optimism. I have been trusted to be trained in all positions, manage a shop on my own, and train new staff. I am a quick learner, and I am always willing to learn more. I have also done volunteer work taking care of cats in a shelter, giving me the opportunity to develop my skills of carefulness, cleanliness, and commitment. 

Through my program at Algonquin College, I am developing my skills in conservation, accessioning, research, and writing. This program has helped me discover my passion for art history and conservation. My goal is to use my creative skills to create a career in conservation. For as long as I can remember, I have had an interest in museums and history. My program has allowed me to connect my skills in arts and crafts and my love for history to my passion for a fulfilling career.
